I’m Coach Clee—a professional trainer, founder of a sports ministry, and just a regular person trying my best to balance faith, work, and family. Life is full of challenges, but God’s Word offers timeless wisdom and guidance. In these short sermons, I share personal experiences and Biblical truths to help you navigate life’s ups and downs. Let’s grow in faith and purpose together
Control What You Can, Trust God with the Rest
Introduction:
- Personal story: Microphone malfunction during a training session.
- Frustration over things outside of control (technology issues).
Main Lesson:
- We often get caught up in things we can’t control, leading to unnecessary stress and frustration.
- Instead, focus on controlling what you can and letting go of what you can’t.
- Do your best and trust God with the rest.
Biblical Perspective:
- Gratitude for the abundance God has provided (e.g., having a video, a great workout).
- Warning against the mindset of lack, illustrated by the first sin in Genesis—focusing on what they didn’t have instead of the abundance around them.
Application:
- Practice gratitude daily to shift focus from lack to abundance.
- Release control over things beyond your influence and trust God’s plan.
Conclusion:
- Control what you can, let go of what you can’t, and be thankful for God’s blessings.

Scripture:
Philippians 4:13
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”.
When faced with challenges—whether in school, sports, or life—remember that your strength isn’t just your own. Lean on Christ’s power and let His strength carry you through obstacles. Before facing a difficult task, take a moment to pray and ask for His help.
Bible
Story
of the week
Story:
David and Goliath (1 Samuel 17)
Young David, armed only with a sling and faith in God, defeats the giant warrior Goliath, showing that no obstacle is too big when God is with you.
Face your fears with faith and trust God to help you overcome challenges, no matter how big they seem.
BIBLICAL
CHALLENGES
of the Week
Challenge:
Pray at Least 5 Times Every Day for 7 Days
Just as Jesus stayed connected to God through constant prayer, you can strengthen your relationship with God by talking to Him throughout the day. It’s not about long prayers but about inviting God into every part of your day—when you wake up, before meals, during challenges, in moments of gratitude, and before bed. This helps you stay grounded in faith, find peace, and develop a habit of seeking God’s guidance.
